The DRAGON Project

B+ G is part of a large european research project called DRAGON (Development of Ressource-efficient and Advanced underGrOund techNologies) which started on the 1st october 2012 and will continue over the next 3 years. DRAGON strives for the online (on the TBM) and automatic processing of the excavated material in order to enhance its use and turn the raw material into a valuable ressource for the cement, steel, ceramic or glass industries. Other partners are: Montan Universität Leoben, Herrenknecht AG, PORR Bau GmbH, PE North West Europe Limited, Indutech instruments GmbH, Jacques Burdin Ingénieur Conseil.
